Medicom's toy bears have become cult objects, paying homage to pop culture in all its facets. On this occasion, the bear celebrates Kiss frontman Paul Stanley and his signature costume, 'The Starchild', an apparent reference to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, which depicts the transformation of an astronaut into a fetus-like superior being called The Starchild.
